On Tuesday, June 11th, an exciting and the first webinar organized by New Chapter on career options took place ahead of the DEGRO Congress. The 30-minute online event provided comprehensive insights into career opportunities for radiation therapists.

The topic "Clinic, Private Practice, MVZ – Where Is My Career Path Leading?" was aimed at doctors approaching their specialist certification, as well as specialists already working in a clinic or practice and considering a career change. Even those who are satisfied with their current work environment but are still interested in various career options had the opportunity to participate in the webinar.

A doctor and three female doctors, all experienced radiation therapists, shared valuable insights into their daily professional lives both in private practice and practice networks. The discussion covered, among other topics, the pros and cons of working in a clinic versus private practice, work-life balance, research opportunities in the outpatient sector, and the expectations of good employers.
